Salary

Provide the salary of the position as an hourly, weekly, monthly or yearly figure.  This is not a required field, however, it is strongly recommended that the salary be provided.

Examples:  $20.50 to $32.75 per hour  /  $36,000 to $58,000 annually

Apply By Date

Provide the date of the last day that applications will be taken for the position.  In cases where there is no definitive cutoff date, this field could be answered with "Open until filled".

Examples:  June 15, 2006  /  Open until filled

JOB DESCRIPTION

This section should describe the job in terms of its work level (entry-level, intermediate-level, advanced-level, etc.) and its primary duties.  The job description could include whether or not the position is a supervisory or management position, as well as who the position reports to. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

This section should outline the primary qualifications required for the position.  These may include education, certification and professional experience requirements, and others.  If required, knowledge and/or experience with specific software applications (i.e. ArcGIS desktop products, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, CARIS, ERDAS, etc.), specific programming languages (i.e. Visual Basic, C++, etc.) or other similar skills may be included.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

This section should outline qualifications that applicants for the position are preferred, but not required, to possess.  These may include knowledge and/or experience with specific software applications (i.e. ArcGIS desktop products, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, CARIS, ERDAS, etc.), specific programming languages (i.e. Visual Basic, C++, etc.) or others.  In addition, preferred certifications, ability to travel frequently and other qualifications may be included here.
